Bring Outdoor Fun to Urban Kids
Each WOW session is designed for 30-42 youths and is held in their neighborhood park. With the assistance of federal, state, and local agencies. With the assistance of federal, state, and local agencies, the interactive instructional activities include learning:

• Conservation - caring for the environment
• Basic camping skills - tent setup, meal preparation
• "Leave No Trace" philosophies
• Know before you go
• Choose the right path
• Stash your trash
• Keep water clean
• Leave it as you find it
• Be careful with fire
• Ecosystems and urban plants - nature and its many wonders
• Fishing - casting, ethical angling
• Astronomy - wonders of the night sky
